Work With Us
Join our Board of Trustees
Would you like to help Frome Birth Talk support pregnant people and new parents?
We are currently recruiting a number of voluntary positions to join our Board of Trustees and we'd love to hear from you. Frome Birth Talk provides free professional counselling and peer support for pregnant women and new parents in the Frome area. In 2020 we received a five-year grant from the National Lottery, which will enable us to move to the next stage of our development. Whether you are an experienced Trustee or want to take your first step at board level, we would love to hear from you. Frome Birth Talk is an equal opportunities organisation and would especially welcome applications from minority ethnic people, neurodivergent people, people with disabilities, young adults, people from the LGBTQ+ community, and people with lived experience relevant to our work. Previous trustee experience is not necessary to join the Board. We are looking for trustees with skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Time commitment depends on the role, but trustees would be expected to attend a minimum of six Trustee meetings per year (in Frome or online), one away day and some ad hoc work. If you are interested in joining us, please email our Director Suzy to arrange an informal chat. To apply, email your completed application form to: info@fromebirthtalk.org.uk |
Join Our Team of Volunteers
Would you like to join a friendly and supportive team with a mission to help support people with the challenge of becoming new parents? Maybe you have some interests and life skills that could support our work? We are always looking for volunteers to help with our friendly support groups or fundraising events.
Please get in touch for a chat or complete a volunteer application form and email it to us if you would like to be involved with our work to support new parents in the Frome community. |
